Agricultural Informatics

The course has been designed to give exposure to fundamentals of Computer System to Bachelors of Agriculture students in their second semester. The course helps the students in understanding the basic concepts of computers and different components of a computer. The concept of data analysis is used by implementing the data analysis using MS-Excel in order to give hands on experience to students. The course also includes the different presentation tools available and how technology can be used to facilitate the process of communication in general. The course also includes an overview of Database Management System using MS-Access and introduction to programming to help the students in understanding how Databases and programming can facilitate different process in agricultural domain.
